The LEAD approach for Parents & Professionals

The LEAD Approach provides a fresh perspective in the field of young peoples’ emotional health and wellbeing. It puts adults in the LEAD in natural and intuitive ways, within the context of the adult-child relationship.

Living Emotional Attachment Development brings together the science of emotion, child development, attachment and trauma, filling a missing piece in the understanding of young peoples’ communication and behaviour.

By making sense of the young person’s presentation in terms of their deepest need for connection, we find some remarkable insights. The LEAD approach translates these insights into practical solutions for families, schools and professionals.

The LEAD approach is offered in group sessions, master class trainings, bespoke trainings for organisations and as the framework for consultancy support for families. We also run a private FB group at The LEAD approach for you to explore.

LEAD Master Classes :

REFLECTIVE & RELATIONAL-FOCUSED TRAINING

In the LEAD approach we seek to use the relational context for change, empowering parents and enhancing our professional input.

What does developmental science have to show us?

How can we make sense of young peoples’ behaviours (or anyone with an immature or stuck system)?

How can we adapt our approach/practice to better meet their social and emotional needs?

These groups are both structured and spontaneous, reflective, mentoring and an opportunity to find out more about leading our students/clients/ young people and supporting their families and teachers in a variety of settings. A deeper dive into the material and learning experience than the LEAD mentor groups.
